Other ways to stay in touch with your money wherever you go

eStatements give you what you need, when you need it. An eStatement is an electronic version of your paper account statement. Besides saving paper and reducing cost (that we can return to you in the form of member value), eStatements make it easy to access a wealth of information very quickly. You can see 15 months of statements online at any time by simply logging into Online Banking. To sign up, simply click the “eDocuments” link within Online Banking.

Save time and postage by signing up for online Bill Pay. It’s a part of our convenient Online Banking service and free to all members. Simply log in to Online Banking, select online Bill Pay and follow the instructions to set up the bills you’d like to pay electronically.

Depositing a check has never been faster or easier. To deposit checks immediately by mobile device, simply take a picture of the front and back of the check and send the images to DECU via the mBanking digital app. Once our software can verify the check, you will have immediate access to your funds up to $3,000. 90% of checks are cleared instantly; most others are approved within 2 business days. Click for full instructions on how to use eDeposit!

Banking with mText gives you access to your account information via SMS text messages. With simple commands you can :

  • View account balances
  • Transfer funds
  • View History
  • Receive security codes for mobile and online banking

To enroll for mText Banking, log into Online Banking and click the mText Banking link, under mBanking tab.

Mobile Wallet

A mobile wallet combines all the benefits a debit or credit card with the convenience of your mobile device, so you can save even more time at the checkout. Make purchases at participating merchants and pay with your mobile wallet, using a smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch instead of a payment card.

How mobile wallets work:

  1. Download the mobile wallet app.
  2. Add your credit card or debit card information to the mobile wallet.
  3. To check out at participating merchants, open the mobile wallet and choose your card. For an in-store purchase, hold your mobile device at the secure terminal.

To determine if the transaction terminal at a retailer has contactless payment capabilities, look for this symbol:Universal pay symbol is used to show customers when they can pay using a mobile wallet.

How do I transfer to another financial institution using Online Banking?

Once Logged into Online Banking, select Transfers from the Menu across the top of the page.  Next select, Other Institutions.  This will take you to the screen where you can add accounts to your list (which does save for future transactions) and also to schedule a transfer.  Please be advised, these transfers take 1-3 business days to process.

If another member transfers money into my account in Online Banking, can they see my balance?

No, the person transferring the money to your account cannot see any of your balances.

Are there any service fees for using Online Banking?

No, there are no fees to use Online Banking at Deere Employees Credit Union.

Is there a monthly fee for online banking and/or online bill payment?

No, there are no fees for Online Banking, and we offer unlimited online Bill Payment FREE for all members who have Online or Mobile Banking account access!

How do I apply or enroll in Online Banking?

To enroll for Online Banking, click on the “First Time User” link in the Online Banking login box on the home page. You will be asked to provide your account number, email address on file at the credit union, your last name and date of birth for verification. A temporary password will then be emailed to you. Once received, enter your temporary password. Then follow the simple instructions and you will be on your way to banking online.
